Skipping ropes are the lost tool of the true athlete. It is not a magic pill and has no sexyness about it but nothing comes close to building a strong heart and lean physique like basic skipping can. You don't have to be Floyd Mayweather. You don't have to fly through it with blinding speed but eventually you will naturally begin to experiment and enjoy trying new techniques. A basic skipping of 10 minutes per day at a casual pace is similar to running 1200 meters. What a fantastic way to get the most bang for buck with your time and efforts.
Skipping doesn't have to be boring too.
